Michael Maximilian Schwarz is Co-Founder and CEO of Xentara (embedded ocean GmbH), a Munich-based software company pioneering software-defined industrial automation and edge control for the industrial sector. Under his leadership, Xentara has established itself as an innovator in enabling smart devices, machines, and real-time industrial processes through cutting edge software solutions. With a career spanning entrepreneurship, tech-driven transformation and strategic consulting, Michael brings deep expertise in industrial software, IT/OT convergence, and digital transformation. Prior to founding Xentara in 2020, he held leadership roles at eluminocity GmbH, mozaiq.io, Cisco and Booz Allen Hamilton, building a track record in venture development, smart infrastructure, and industrial digitization. Michael holds a Diploma in Industrial Engineering (Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen) with a focus on Operations and IT from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), and a bachelor in Economics from Université de Paris-Dauphine.
